This morning Kevin and i were laughing sooo hard. We were eating breakfast and i was reading the story of the Good Samaratan out of the Beginners Bible. Now the pictures in this Bible are so funny and of course developed for little ones minds. So as i was reading, i was trying to emphasize that the poor man was attacked and hurt very badly by the mean men (all of whom were carrying sticks). I was hoping to get a compassionate reaction and have a "teaching moment," when all Elijah could say or think about was their BIIIIGGGG sticks and how cool they were. i couln't finish the story and kevin and i were laughing and elijah was confused and asked us why we were laughing and i said "bc you are so dang cute." He looked at me with a grumpy face and said just like a 3 yr. old, "I not dang cute."
