For Elijah and Cooper

i thank you, Lord that they are made to worship you.  That they will grow up knowing purpose you have for them.  That you will guard their hearts and protect their minds.  That you will keep their ways pure as they live according to YOUR Word.  I thank you for putting Godly friends in their path that will hold them accountable and challenge them spiritually and theologically.  I thank you that you have covenanted with Kevin and i to raise them by teaching them God's Word as we sit at home, as we go through day to day life and as we lie down at night.  Thank you that You are leading them to do everything without complaining or arguing so that they may become blameless and pure children of God.  Teach them to not conform to the pattern of this world but to be transformed by the renewing of their mind, bc then they will be able to test and approve what YOur will is.  Help them to look not only at their own interest but also to the interest of others.  Fill them with love, joy, peace patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness and self-control, bc we know these can only come from YOu!  Thank you that you and us as parents will teach them to delight in YOUR Word and meditate on it day and night.  Give them a passion to follow hard after YOU.  Take each one and their individual personalities and mold them, chisel them away, sanctify them for YOU.  May they honor me and Kevin so that there days will be blessed and long.  Thank YOu for their obedience.  Help us to teach them submissiveness and respect for authority of our household, of your dominion and of the dominion on earth that you have established.  Ultimately our desire is submissiveness to YOU.  May they know they can do all things through YOU who gives them strength.  That they are more than conquerers in Christ JEsus.
