Elijah and i just finished learning the armor of God from Eph. 6:10-18. I decided to forgo the memory verse for a couple of weeks and work on this. Elijah is totally into knights and swords and fighting and such so i thought we should memorize what each piece of the armor stands for.
He knows them all:
Helmet of salvation
belt of truth
breastplate of righteousness
shield of faith
sword of the spirit (elijah's fav.)
shoes of gospel of peace
This week we are working on Ps. 119:18
OPEN MY EYES THAT I MAY SEE WONDERFUL THINGS FROM YOUR LAW. We made binoculars and cut out pictures of eyes and glued them to paper with our verse on it.
Catechism:
#5. Q. Why are you to glorify God?
A. Because He made me and takes care of me.
