As I sit at the table trying to slow down a have a moment-a moment to myself but mostly a moment for God to speak. I am trying to be still and know that He is God, meanwhile scooby doo is on in the background. Then i start feeling guilty because I shouldn't be letting them watch TV-let alone a Scooby doo(haha). I battle wanting to be a good homeschool mommy, where every moment is a teaching moment and full of GOD talk and God's grace. A time where we sit down and read God's word together....HA! Heck...i would love it if they wanted to watch veggie tales or one of the many Bible Story movies i have bought for them.
All I know is God is pleased with me when I find pleasure in him and being with HIm. so I will do it! I will spend time in His Word and listen for him to speak whether I feel His presence or not. I am determined to have a moment with him! I am determined to hear from Him and for Him to change me-my yucky heart.
