Why I love winter(in the mountains)!!!

I started noticing over the past few years how much i miss the moutains and winter. We drove through my hometown recently and this is what came of it. My favorite things about winter. I love all the memories of the mountains of NC.

5. Smell of smoke from the chimney
6. Seeing the smoke from the chimney

9. My father’s pizza
10. Hot chai tea

31. Climbing up our road to top of mountain and sledding all the way down about one mile.

33. Sitting on our front porch with one of my grandma’s quilts looking over the mountains.
34. Climbing kitzizuma with my family in a foot of snow.
35. Mom’s chili, chicken stew, veggie soup, especially after being in the snow all day.

37. Cracking of branches after big snow.
38. Running like crazy to get out of gushing cold winds

40. Walking up our mile long mountain driveway in the middle of the night in the snow, because we couldn’t get the car up.
