The holidays have come and gone and have been very fun this year. We really tried to keep everything simple and cut down on the extras. Christmas morning was really fun this year. We all got in our king size bed and read the christmas story from the gospel of luke, and then we went out to the tree to see what was under it. I thought elijah was going to ransack the place but he opened everything and really looked to see what was in it! He got a pirate ship and a bike and a tool bench. Some of the gifts were handed down and they were great. Cooper got several little toys and enjoyed his bottle and playing with his toys while laying on the couch. I got my grain mill and breadmaker (bday and christmas combined) and kevin got a guitar in Sept which was the same (combo of bday and christmas). WE were so excited to celebrate Jesus' bday and we made him a cake and i started Him a baby blanket that i will crochet a little every year and we will wrap it up for His present under the tree. We have lots of friends popping in and out all day, just the way we like it. We played outside, since it was in the 70's! Maybe some day we will experience a cold Christmas again!
