Favorite images of the weekend.

I know people just say there is something about a relationship between a son and their mother or between a daddy and a daughter. But let me tell you how important a father and his relationship to his son is. This is the man who is to show them how to be a man. A godly man. To raise him to honor, love and obey his mother. To be the priest, provider and protector of the family. To show him what if means to be a husband who loves his wife in a way that resembles how Christ loved the Church and gave his life for it. That can't be easy...

These moments are actually frequent at our house. My boys have such a good relationship with their daddy, because he has been actively developing that relationship by wrestling, by reading books, sitting and talking and playing video games or action figures. They LOVE their daddy!

Lord, continue to use Kevin as an example to teach our boys how to be the men you have created them to be, with their different personalities and genetic make-up. Use their strengths and weaknesses for your Glory and honor. Thank you for the plan you have for their life and that you allowed us to join in that plan. We are honored to be apart of their lives, our little superheroes!
