Elijah's tiny conch shell. Very beautiful!

Cooper chasing the seagulls in the distance.....i love this shot.

The boys on their treck and exploration!

The up close and personal stingray! Soo cool!

I can't believe it has taken me this long to explore Jekyll. When we first moved to the area( pre-kiddos), I think we went up there one day, but I don't remember a thing about it. But me and the boys have been twice this year and LOVED it. We usually head south to fernandina beach. It's only about a 30 min. drive. Jekyll is about 45 min. and there use to be NOThing much north to entice us. But now we tend to go that direction more and more. We have Doctors up there and they now have some nice shopping areas and resturants. Anyway, the thing i like most about Jekyll is the wildlife....i am not an animal person at ALL but i love the marine animals and the oceany stuff. In may we saw dolphins VERY close to shore and got to explore a million(a bit exagerated :) jellyfish. Today we swam 15 feet away from the dolphins, found some huge conch shells, hermit crabs, blue crabs and even got to see a stingray that a fisherman had caught before he released it back into the water! Talk about EDUCATIONAL!!! It was so beautiful. The only thing I didn't like was swimming in muddy merky water...it was pretty eeeeewwwwky!
